Lattimer, Bill, Executive Director
Bill Lattimer is interim Executive Director of SAMS GB, having taken up his post on 16 October. Bill is a Reader in his local church in Rochester Diocese. He has recently been working as a volunteer at Christian Research carrying out both research and consultancy for Christian organisations. He was formerly a partner with the global management consultancy and IT services firm Accenture, where he undertook both consultancy and line management roles.

Sutton, Canon John, International Relations Director
sutton SAMS has been part of John’s life since boyhood as his father, Canon Harry Sutton, was its General Secretary from 1960-74 and presided over a period of tremendous growth. John and his wife Jen served in Peru and John has since held a number of posts on the home staff. In 2003 he was appointed General Secretary, following in his father’s footsteps, and became Mission Development Officer in 2007.

Tadman, Philip, Financial and Administrative Secretary
tadman Born in Chile of SAMS missionary parents, Phil has been on the GB staff for over 20 years and has amassed a wealth of knowledge of the Society and its ministries. He is based at the Head Office in Tunbridge Wells and is supported by a loyal team of paid assistants and volunteers. His wife Rosemary runs Peridata, which helps people in South America by marketing wooden crafts from Argentina as well as other items locally manufactured in that continent.

Lunt, Robert, Resources Officer
lunt Bob worked for the Diocese of Northern Argentina, in particular overseeing the translation of the Bible into the language of the Wichi people. This was published by the Argentine Bible Society in 2002, the first complete Bible in a language indigenous to that country. He then joined the home staff and is supported in the Mission Education office by his daughter Elizabeth. His wife Margaret also served in Argentina as a medical doctor and church worker.

Crofts, Richard, GB Support Team
croft A former CMS mission partner in Tanzania, Richard joined SAMS GB in 1997 as an area secretary. He now serves as part of the GB Ministry Team and travels widely visiting churches and local SAMS secretaries. He also has responsibility for mission partners returning for UK leave.

Greenhalgh, Tim, GB Support Team
greenhalgh Tim is the other half of the GB Ministry Team and operates from his home base in Gloucestershire. As well as travelling, he helps mission partners gain the necessary funding to maintain their work overseas and works to expand and enhance the SAMS volunteer network.
