When it comes to giving to mission, Paul says, "What you are doing is much more than a service that supplies God's people with what they need. It is something that will make many others thank God" (2 Corinthians 9:12).
Ways of giving
There are plenty of ways of giving to the Lord's work through SAMS.

1. Gift Aid (SAMS Recommended Option)
For all income tax payers (and/or capital gains tax payers) who wish to give SAMS tax effective donations of any amount, via cheques, standing orders, etc. (The PDF at the top of this page includes a Gift Aid declaration but a separate Gift Aid Form is also available for downloading as a PDF file (27kb)).

2. Direct Gift
Please send cheques or postal orders made payable to "SAMS", to the SAMS Finance and Administration Office in Tunbridge Wells shown on the contact page.

Cash or cheques can be paid via Bank Giro into the SAMS account at the Bank of Scotland, Sort Code 12-12-68, Account No. 00871727. We can provide transfer slips if required.

4. Girobank Transfer via Alliance and Leicester
Cash or cheques can be transferred directly to the SAMS Girobank Account No. 547 2008 from any Post Office or from your own A & L account.

If you want to give amounts on a regular basis e.g. monthly or quarterly, write to us for a Bankers Order form.

6. Payments to SAMS via the Internet

7. A Gift Via Your Local Church
You can give your gift to your local SAMS secretary or your PCC Treasurer and they will forward it to us.

9. Payroll Giving
For anyone who is employed and wishes to give tax free by payroll deduction. This is arranged through one's employer.

10. Interest-free loan
If there are amounts of money that could be lent to SAMS, free of interest, this assists cash flow and certain areas of ministry considerably. SAMS would undertake to refund it to you, either at a certain future date or on demand.

11. A Legacy
Remembering SAMS in your Will is a very valuable way of supporting the work of the Society. In all but the most exceptional circumstances a bequest to SAMS would be exempt from Inheritance Tax.

12. Use of charitable accounts such as those offered by Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) account (using a CAF Voucher of CAF Charity card) or Stewardship Services
If you have an account you can use it to give to SAMS.

13. Selling Your Heirlooms

14. Selling Goods For SAMS
SAMS stock a small range of goods for sale (e.g.
videos, books, CDs and tapes). An increase in the
sale of these assists SAMS’ finances. You can download a full list of these resources here, which you may also print out and use for ordering.

15. Organising Sponsored Events
Walks, marathons, swims, etc. You could auction your youth group members off to work by the hour for the highest bidder!

16. Encouraging Companies To Give To SAMS
As SAMS is a Registered Charity (Company registered in England, no 65048; Registered Charity 2213328) those who play a part in company decisions could consider SAMS as a possible beneficiary of a charitable gift.

17. Higher Rate Taxpayers
If you pay tax at the higher rate, greater tax relief can be acheived via your tax return.

18. Tax Overpayment
Those who overpay their tax can ask the Inland Revenue to send the overpayment to SAMS via the Self-Assessment tax return. The unique code for SAMS to benefit is GAE91JG.
