Captain Allen Gardiner, R.N., is the founder of SAMS and a relatively unsung hero of the Christian Church. Highly respected today in Argentina for his pioneering efforts to reach the Indians of Patagonia, Gardiner’s life was one of evangelism in different parts of the world met by constant opposition, culminating in a lonely death in Tierra del Fuego. But SAMS and the Anglican Church of much of South America owes him an immeasurable debt. More...
